Foa came into clearer form after a winter recording along the LA river with Adam Rasmussen and Chris Lynch of Gardens and Villa. The sounds that grew from that time are a melodically-saturated collection of neo-lullabies that pulse from the depth of Kathryne Robison's experience as an empath, somatic seeker, ritualist and multi-disciplinary artist.
Accessing the powers of tenderness, sonic adornment and exploring the realities of lineage and inheritance, Naomi’s Last Dress is a bridge between the Seen and Unseen worlds: Each track builds upon the other, functioning as a ritual in the name of empathy, collective healing and radical self-responsibility. The mysterious & poetic meanderings of this debut album crafts and opens a door to another world--for the heart to walk through.
